I get lots of questions from students about what kind of work I do. In a nutshell, the early years of my creative practice was focused mainly on freelance design. I also spent a good bit of time designing and binding artist’s books. The last few years I have focused my energy on building an illustration portfolio and have had some fun freelance illustration jobs. Feel free to see what I’m up to on Instagram @jamierunnells where I show creative play and some client work. Or check out my work on my (ahem, badly needing an update) website. Wanna talk some more about my work, process, freelance issues, feel free to stop by and chat!
Its that time of year again to enter your best design work into the AIGA Blue Ridge, FLUX student design competition! The show accepts work in a wide variety of categories, and is very affordable to enter (it even offers discounts for AIGA members). Find out more here.
ENTRIES (submitted online) ARE DUE NOVEMBER 9, 2018
