Hello! I'm an illustrator living in Mississippi with my three sons, husband, and goofy dog. Growing up in the Colorado Rockies, and hanging out in my Grandma's kitchen & garden, inspired my love for nature and food. I love working with watercolor, cut paper, and gouache, in bright gestural shapes and blind contour strokes, and finding beauty in the mundane. I studied fine art at Augusta State University in Georgia (where I was also captain of the volleyball team), and earned a Master's in Design at Edinburgh College of Art, in Scotland, where I studied graphic design and book arts. I am one of the only people I know without a middle name, and chocolate is my spirit animal. I've created illustrations for Bon Appétit, Spirituality & Health, Countryman Press, Edible San Diego, The 'Sip and other clients. My work has been featured multiple times in PRINT and Creative Quarterly magazines, has won numerous ADDY awards, and has been exhibited in dozens of national juried exhibitions. I'm also a Professor of Visual Communication at Mississippi State University.

I'm also available for workshops, and guest lectures in creative play, and surface design, and visual communication.
